10 Tips to Help you Deal with Depersonalisation

7. HAVE A FLEXIBLE ROUTINE

There are two parts to this advice. The first is to create a routine in the first place. Being so busy and without a routine can mean there is not particularly time to even think about grounding yourself. Therefore creating a routine can help to separate tasks into manageable chunks and reduce some of the stress. Secondly, do not be afraid to change your routine. Too much time spent in the same routine can mean an inclination towards living life on autopilot again. When this happens, switch it up. Massive changes are not necessary- maybe introduce a new step into your morning routine, do your makeup differently, or get something different for lunch. Anything that involves having to stop and think. I would recommend bullet journaling, as it allows you to keep track of your routine, but offers an unlimited amount of customisability.
