What do you dream about?

We’ve all heard about the most common dreams – falling, flying, teeth falling out – but there are some lesser-known facts about dreams that are absolutely mesmerizing.

Dream interpretation began in ancient civilizations like Egypt and Greece and later popularized by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud in his 1899 book, The Interpretation of Dreams. In this article, we will share some fascinating facts about dreams, including how often you dream (#2), how men and women dream differently (#6), and how many modern inventions were inspired by dreams (#9).

1. You can’t read or tell the time in your dreams

When we dream, we are incapable of reading and telling the time!

So if you don’t know whether you are dreaming or not, try reading a book or checking a clock. Every time you look at a clock, it will tell a different time and the hands of the clock might not be moving.

And the strangest thing of all, we have no idea why this is.
