Do you feel like you’re always the one reaching to others?
Wouldn’t it be nice to be missed for a change?
Are you perhaps trying to get your ex back?
Sometimes, you don’t notice that you’re actually pouring too much time and effort into someone.
When the amount of affection you’re putting out doesn’t get reciprocated, it gets you down.
To help, here are ways on how to make someone miss you.
Disclaimer: This video is for educational purposes and is based on personal opinions. This video is not a substitute for professional advice, but general guidance. We advise you to always listen to your intuition and always do what is right for you.
1. Rock your independence!
As much as you need other people, the person who’s ultimately there for you is you.
Practice being happy and confident – this makes people gravitate towards you.
Have days for yourself. Go to the movies, eat at your favorite restaurant, read that book you’ve been putting off!
Fill your days with happiness. Others will notice this and want to spend time with you.
2. Hang out with others.
Go walk your dog, meet new friends or bond with your loved ones!
This will occupy you and your absence will make the other person miss you more.
Keep yourself busy. When your time becomes valuable, the time you get to spend with each other feels more valuable, too.
3. Be active on social media.
When you’re out there trying to live a good life without them, take it up a notch and show off on social media!
Post Instagram photos, Facebook statuses, fun tweets, and more!
Let them remember you and how much fun time with you is. In turn, they will want to spend your next memory with you.
4. Communicate less often.
You might think that being around someone a lot will make them miss you more.
Actually, time apart might just be equally as powerful. Maybe even more!
Try not to hover around them a lot. Give space for silence.
Your absence will leave them wanting, they will probably be the ones to contact you first.
So hold off on those messages and calls for now.
As the band Passenger said: “You only know you love her when you let her go.”
Let them realize how much you mean to them while you’re not there.
5. Look good. Feel good.
When you look the best, you feel like you can conquer the world.
By dressing up and wearing articles of clothing that you like, you are increasing your self-esteem.
Confidence is key. It is sexy.
It helps you become memorable in their mind, and this will make them miss you in no time.

6. Leave room for mystery.
Be the person to end the conversation first.
This doesn’t mean dismissing them and being outright disrespectful.
The key here is to keep them wanting more.
So after you’ve had a fun talk and you feel like you have nothing more to say, take the initiative and end it.
That way, it ends on a good note and doesn’t make you feel desperate for their attention.
So the next time they message, you know they miss you.
7. Know when to reconnect.
Your goal is to make them miss you, not put so much distance that it puts the relationship at risk.
When they’re avidly reaching out to you and showing interest in going out, take the chance.
This is most likely because they already miss you (a lot) and want to catch up on lost time.
Healthy distance is okay, but show care when it is needed.
Call every now and then, send a message every week, ask how they’re doing.
Give some time for yourself and time to care for others as well.
8. Be patient.
It isn’t easy to put distance between you and someone you like, specifically if you’re so used to being present.
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If you really want to talk to them, then do it. What you are feeling is most important.
It takes time for someone to miss you because being apart is what makes them search for you in the first place.
Just remember to keep yourself occupied by doing the things you like, leave some room for mystery, and see the rest happen.
