- get into physical or verbal fights
- have friends who bully others
- get increasingly aggressive
- get sent to the principle’s office or to detention frequently
- have unexplained extra money or new belongings
- blame others for their problems
- don’t accept responsibility for their actions
- are competitive and worry about their reputation or popularity
Why is it so important to identify a bully?
The answer is “prevention”! Bullying has many different views. The view of victim is totally painful, but the view of bully is hard too. Parents, educators, students and school community need to realize that there aren’t bad children. There are only bad behaviours. Children who treat like that have unsolved problems. We don’t want to isolate those children, but we want to learn to our children how to identify that hurtful phenomenon. Besides, it’s only them who know what really happens among peers. That’s our special opportunity to a peaceful school environment.
