9 Characters Who May Have Undiagnosed Mental Disorder

Dory of Finding Nemo (And hopefully Finding Dory!)

Everyone knows and loves the adorable fish from the epic tale of a father going to great lengths to find his son. Dory has been the loyal sidekick sticking with Marlin through thick and thin, and even gained a few sharp-toothed friends during their journey. But Dory having a mental disorder is not really a secret the developers tried to hide. She suffers from a variant of Generalized Amnesia, where she would have trouble forming memories out of new information, and is very selective on the information she would absorb. This proved to be debilitating for the better part of the movie, as well as a very endearing characteristic of the fish. But then again, we wouldn’t have Dory any other way.
