The Cube: This Test Will Reveal Your Dominant Personality Traits

The field

The field represents your mind. It’s size is the representation of your knowledge of the world, and how vast your personality is. The condition of the field(dry, grassy, well-trimmed) is what your personality looks like at first glance.

  • A dry/dead field means you are more on the pessimistic side.
  • A grassy/healthy-looking field means you are more on the optimistic side.
  • A well-trimmed field suggests that you tend to be more analytical and cautious.

The cube

The cube represents you. The size of the cube is your ego. The surface of the cube represents what is visibly observable about your personality, or maybe it is what you want others to think about you. If the cube has a specific texture(Marble, wood, etc.), determine the texture of the surface, for example, a marble surface is smooth and wood is rough.The surface could either be;

  • Smooth – You are a gentle person. You are careful not to hurt or make others feel uncomfortable. However, this does not mean you are a good person.
  • Rough – You are more straight-forward. You tend to be honest in everything you say, no matter what the reaction or what others would feel about this honesty, you don’t really care.

If the surface is bumpy or spikey, you might actually have a hurtful attitude, or you like to criticize others or make others feel inferior to you.

Colors

The color of the cube is a more in-depth analysis of yourself. Each color can represent an emotion, or an entire personality altogether. However, these are the most common:

  • Red – You are physically active and enjoy experiencing things through your senses.
  • Yellow – You are sociable and pay close attention to your individuality.
  • Blue – You are intelligent and respect an individual’s ideals.
  • Violet – You are intelligent with a small hint of perfectionism. You are also mysterious.
  • Grey – You are confident with yourself, calm, and tend to be more independent.
  • Black – You have a strong sense of individuality, independence, and you enjoy solitude.
  • White – You are independent and is self-reliant. You are simple and kind.
  • Others – Try to match the closest color you can. However, there are other personality tests involving colors available in the internet.

Special
On some cases, the physical characteristics of the cube is unique;

  1. A cube with transparent surface means you tend to let others know how you feel on the inside. The confidence to show your introverted thoughts mean sincerity. You know that you are good inside, and that’s what most people see as well.
  2. A cube made out of water/ice means that you let external elements influence you completely. Meaning your personality is more sensitive to social pressure, relationships, and other environmental factors.
  3. A hollow cube means that you put the majority of your concern on your outside appearance, leaving what’s inside irrelevant. This does not mean that you have nothing to offer on the inside.
  4. A metal/rock cube means you have solid integrity. Your personality is so strong that it cannot be bent or influenced by any external force. You are dominant and is consistent.

The ladder

The ladder represents your goals. The length of the ladder determines the scale of your goals, shorter ladders mean more simplistic goals. The location of the cube is also important. The distance of the ladder with the cube determines the focus and effort that you are currently investing on your goals. A ladder erected beside your cube means that you are currently putting your maximum effort and focus in order to achieve your goals.

The horse

The horse represents your ideal partner. It could be playing, running around, or is sleeping/sitting right next to your cube.

  • A playing horse means that your ideal partner does not take relationships too seriously.
  • A running horse means that your ideal partner may not always be around you.
  • A sleeping/sitting horse means that your ideal partner fully commits him/herself to you.
  • Other results of the behavior of the horse may describe your ideal partner metaphorically, examples from actual results are; the horse is locked in a stable, the horse is eating the flowers, the horse is destroying the cube, the horse is on top of the cube, or even rarely, the horse is dead.

Color

  • A brown horse is the most common. It also means that you don’t specifically look for something special in a partner.
  • A black horse means that your partner is unpredictable and dangerous. It also means you won’t get bored with your relationship. Your partner may also be the more dominant one in the relationship.
  • A white horse means that your partner is well-tamed. You both value loyalty in a relationship and trust each other. However, it may get boring in the long run.
  • Any other color besides the three above would mean that you’re ideal partner is completely unique and weird.

The flowers

The flower represents your children or desire to have children. The closer the flower is to the cube, the closer you feel to your children or the thought of having children. The more flowers the more kids you wish to have.

The weather condition

The rain symbolizes your problems. The intensity of the rain directly represents the gravity of your problems. A foggy scenario represents uncertainty, mystery, or a need to identify oneself. A sunny or fine weather represents optimism and being carefree. A windy weather suggests that you worry about future problems but tend not to give them much attention.

The flowers represent your family and friends. The number of the flowers determine your popularity. The location of the flowers determine how close you are with your social groups. The color of the flower may also describe your current feelings toward your peers.

  1. So some of this was spot on, some of this was way off and some was inbetween. overall it was interesting. I think the best part was the horse… that was more accurate than any other question lol!! I picked a red horse, I con’t tell you why, but I did and the results accurately told me that my ideal partner would be unique and weird! I can’t abide by anything less!!

  2. I am pessimistic, and I wonder why it always show that I am optimistic but the rest are truly me

    1. you may have more faith in yourself and other side than you think 🙂

    1. Well they said the size of your cube represents your ego so it means you have a small ego.

  3. It’s just the horse that makes it partly untrue. But all in all, it was very psychological and theory-based. Good enough. 🙂

  4. I don’t desire more children nor a partner. I desire to be respected for whom and what I want W/O critics opinions. If ones don’t like how I perceive life they don’t have to involve themselves within my Life. I’m not taking any BS IN 2018 NOR IN YEARS TO COME. DISTANCING MYSELF IS GOOD!

  5. Maybe my mind works in a very literal sense. Who can say what our influences are and how much age and experience play in these quizzes. At my core I’m an artist so when someone say imagine this _______ my mind usually goes right to exact examples of what you’re asking. When you say open field, my jumps right into beautiful massive shots of green grassy fields from movies like Highlander and Lord of The Rings.

When you say imagine a cube the first thing to pop in my mind was a Rubik’s Cube or the puzzle box from Hellraiser. When you say imagine a ladder, my mind jumps to the house sized tall ladders I used painting houses during my College years. The weather is nice and the horse looks like Mr. Ed or Bojack Horseman. Its eating the grass and flowers because what else would it would be doing.

The puzzle box is just sitting there and the ladder is just standing there erect. I’m pretty choosey when it comes to sex, politics, religion and finances. I don’t want kids and only have a close handful of good people that I call true friends; yet I imagined a gigantic field of beautiful flowers so my horse could eat with the grass. None of this makes any sense to me.

I file this in the same pseudo science category as horoscopes, body language reading experts and chakra readings. Goat babble to reinforce what you already believe about yourself while discounting the complex nature of mental illness, education, life experience, winning the where you were born lottery and even access to wealth or status in society. What the hell does a multi colored Rubik’s cube say about my personality? Nothing, besides it was a toy I used to play with as a kid. Some other person who grew up somewhere that didn’t have toy stores, a Home Depot or had to eat horse meat as a source of food would not have the same answers but could have the same personality as I do. That’s not science its BS.

Whomever designed this “test” doesn’t even recognize their own biases. Clue: the part where you go old school and associate the color Black with dominate, unpredictable and dangerous. This person even doubles down by associating so-called good traits with Whiteness and then super imposes those traits over your partner. The underlying racist ideology of that is mind boggling. Associating a color with a personality is not only dangerous but dumb asf for an adult.

    1. Uh, DUH? You underestimate people to the point you think they take all of this seriously, and that people literally take tests to see what type of taco they are (they’re not, they’re humans?). Personality tests aren’t concrete and are hardly ever specific, they’re extremely difficult to define in an individual especially over the internet. No matter where this test is from, and no matter how “credible” the source is, there is no other incentive to taking this test than the pure curiosity of how others may try to perceive us by the colors we chose and the things we imagine when given a scenario. To seek any sort of credibility in this test and be upset with the lack thereof only means you lack the most vital part of a personality: a sense of humor.

  6. Way off on most items…. this may have been more “me” in the past…. but not today.

  7. What if the cube is made of mirrors? like the entire surface is just all mirrors what does that mean lol

  8. Well iconsider my pets as children, so maybe the flower thing is right.

  9. Everything was true, except for the flowers. Although I like children, I don’t want to have any. Also I wish it went into detail about what different color flowers mean. Mine were daffodils snd poppies, specifically.

  10. My ladder, horse, and flowers, in my mind, wasn’t in the same plane as my cube. Welp.

  11. Mine was really spot on, the only thing is that my horse was just standing (as if he was waiting for me) and was pawing the ground

  12. My cube was the original rubiks cube… Its smooth but has gaps between each part so its kinda bumpy?…and its not transparent, has different colors and isnt made of metal or ice…so now what?

  13. What if you pictured your ladder laying on the ground, close to your cube?
