The high amounts of sodium, empty calories, and other things you can find in these foods can make your mental health a whole lot worse and lead to you feeling less good about yourself. Too Much Caffeine
Caffeine is what powers our country. We have a nice cup of coffee in the morning, and maybe an energy drink during the day. A couple cups of coffee can be good for the soul, but the problem is overindulgence. Too much caffeine can lead to problems sleeping, an increase in anxiety, and crashing and burning. Try limiting your caffeine amount and instead work out to give you some energy, or try getting more rest.

Obviously, you don’t change your diet overnight. Try looking at your diet and reducing the amount of problematic foods you consume. See if there is a way for you to replace them with healthier foods filled with omega-3s, protein, and other good vitamins and minerals, too. This can help improve your overall mental health, and it’s definitely worth trying to see if your mental health improves.
