I have had the passion to write since I was about 8 years old. It all started with a diary. Since then I’ve written urban fiction, poetry, and short stories. My writing lead me to journalism when I participated in my grade school morning announcements and that lead me to pursue journalism throughout Middle School and High School where I became Editor-in-Chief of An Art & Poetry Anthology. I also submitted articles for Garnet, Black & Gold, my High School newspaper. I decided to pursue a Mass Communications degree because I’ve always considered myself a broad communicator. I love using media convergence to bring thoughts and ideas to the masses. During undergrad I became Editor-of- Entertainment at Lander University I also dipped my toes in the world of broadcasting as a news anchor for WLGTV a college news broadcasting program. I am currently a Patient Ambassador within the Healthcare industry. Outside of my 9 to 5 I love to write about any and everything that comes to mind, even if it ends up on a napkin.
