30 Love Languages You Should Know

Think about being in a relationship where you and your partner love each other, but you feel like something’s missing. Your partner may say nice things to show love, but you want something different that makes you feel truly loved. This is why knowing your love language is important.

How do we express love? How do we want love to be shown to us? Love languages refer to the different ways individuals express and receive love.  In our previous video, we covered the five types of love languages by Gary Chapman, which are Words of affirmation. Quality time. Physical touch. Acts of service. Receiving gifts. But did you know there’s more?

Here are 30 additional love languages beyond the commonly known five:

  1. Creative Expression: Some people express and feel love through artistic or creative outlets like writing, painting, music, or other forms of self-expression. They may appreciate love letters, homemade gifts, or shared creative activities.
  1. Spiritual Connection: For individuals with this love language, a deep spiritual or philosophical connection is essential. Sharing meaningful spiritual experiences or engaging in philosophical discussions can be a way to express and receive love.
