9 Characters Who May Have Undiagnosed Mental Disorder

Derek Hale of Teen Wolf

Ah, the ever lovable sour wolf of the season battled demons from outside of Beacon Hills, as well as inside his mind. Despite his hard exterior (mostly throughout season 1 and 2), he still exhibited signs and symptoms of Depression (albeit a bit mild. And this is how some fans portray him as well). For the entirety of the first few seasons of the show, he had carried graciously his grief on the loss of his family, and the guilt that he was the reason his family is no more. He would often wallow in those ideals that alienates himself from things that he once enjoyed, and would just prefer to be alone and wallow, (even if he goes out and saves the pesky meddling teenagers). Derek would often isolate himself from intimacy and would prefer the company of his sweet Camaro. Although Derek’s character had evolved during the latter parts of the Teen Wolf arcs, it seems that he has not found peace within himself just yet, but have managed to build relationships along the way.
