6. TRY NOT TO CONCENTRATE TOO MUCH ON “BEING THERE”

I know, as soon as someone tells you “don’t think about something”, you are going to think of nothing but that, but in this case, focusing will make things worse. Remember in school when you would concentrate so much on trying to listen to the teacher that you would not actually hear a word of what they were saying? Too much concentration may mean you find yourself not enjoying whatever it is you were doing amidst the incessant mantra of “be present, be present, be present”.
