Animating For Psych2Go FAQ
1. How many videos an animator have to do a month or week?
It depends on how fast an animator can complete a 5 min long video. On average, an animator finishes 4 videos in a month. I normally assign the next project right away once the first project completes.
2. Do animators have a choice for what topics to animate or not?
All topics will be assigned by me based on your animation quality + performance from the past. However, I’m very open to hearing on different topic preferences. I’ll try my best to assign those to you if it’s available.
3. How much time do you give us to finish a video?
We give 2 weeks for an animator to complete 1 video. It’s always best to have the video completed in less than 2 weeks.
4. If an animator doesn’t like to animate the topic you told them to animate about, what are you going to do? Will you give them another topic?
I would say treat it as a job. It is a job essentially where you have the responsibility and also to be a reliable team member. I think the respectful thing is to do is communicate your concerns with me. For instance, if the topic you receive bothers you. Let us know, we are open to switching it out. I’d rather have you be honest upfront at the start than dropping the project in the middle of it. I think it’s a much more respectful thing to do not only at Psych2Go but any other jobs you take in real life.
5. Could you get in and if you didn’t like it leave or something?
If you feel like you’re not a good fit for the position, please let us know instead of going mia. We really appreciate it if you give us a heads up that you’re unable to complete the project, instead of dropping the project in the middle of it without informing us.
