Draw a Person in the Rain, And We Will Reveal Your True Self
What’s going to be analyzed in your drawing:
- The orientation of the drawing:
- On the right. If the person on your sheet of paper is located on the right, it indicates your desire to grow professionally and your confidence in what will happen in the future.
- On the left. If the person is located on the left part of the paper, it shows your pessimistic attitude and also that something from your past prevents you from being happy in the future.
- In the center. If your person occupies a central position, it means you’re quite competitive.
- Umbrella:
- No umbrella indicates that you have no protective mechanisms and resources to cope with difficult life situations.
- A large umbrella that covers the person almost completely means that you’re very defensive, the type of person who always needs protection and prefers isolation.
- The handle of an umbrella: you always need support and some action plan prepared even if you know you won’t need it.
- Human figure:
- Front view: the ability to confront difficult situations.
- Profile view: the desire to avoid ambiguous situations.
- Back view: the need to go unnoticed.
- The size of the drawing:
- Small: modesty, insecurity, feeling of inferiority, low self-esteem.
- Big: the need to be recognized, prone to vanity.
- How you drew the picture: the most common way is to start with the person’s head and finish with raindrops. However…
- If you started with the feet, it shows that you tend to choose the wrong way to solve your problems.
- If you started with the umbrella, it can be a sign of excessive defensiveness.
- Does the person move in your drawing?
- If the person is staying still, it shows that you want to protect yourself from the surrounding world and that you have some problems with adaptation.
- If the person is walking, it means that you know where you’re heading with your life.
Since each drawing is unique and the interpretations vary for each person, the test is usually administered and interpreted by a professional.
Based on materials from Quo
what if the person has drawn clouds?
what if the person is happy standing in the rain and enjoying it?
I love rain! I only really like the sun if I’m going to the beach or something. I love laying in bed listening to it on the rooftop and I love walking out in it, getting my hair soaked. Maybe it was because I was born during a heavy thunderstorm – I dunno. But everyone always sees me as depressing and “weird” when I say I love it. Not true. I look up into the sky, close my eyes and smile as the drops fall on face. Even winter rain.
Sorry for the long-winded reply to your comment. Just reiterating your question, because I am happier when it rains.
This is written in a really negative view
I dunno, I think “arms outstretched, facing the front while smiling / laughing and embracing the rain”, while not totally described in this article, mean something a little more… Hopeful and warm.
Heh, the interpretations in this article are awful.
No offense, I have some issue with fifth response, sure is common to started with the head but at least be straightforward about. Heck, try to be brutally blunt about not being special, original nor creative if you have to. I’m not being me I’m being honest try not to beat around the bush to much, okay? =u=
i drew them inside lmao
