The Core Values of Psych2Go (Sept 9, 2024)

It has been almost 8 years since psych2go was incepted. Started in 2017 with a Tumblr Blog with half a million followers to now a Youtube community of over 10 million plus. As we move into 2024, we kept help but feel that Psych2Go has indeed grown from a seedling to now a big plant that needs a bit of taming and also repurposing.

That said, times have changed and we understand that our audience has moved on to different stages in life and that also the amount of content and creators on Youtube have expanded, we are now envisioning a future for psych2go where we can serve beyond content and more into experiential experiences. Just like how Disney and Ghibli shows can have their own interactive play experierneces and exhibits, we hope to see psych2go work put into future musuems, events, and ultimately exhibits.

With that all said, we hope to do more and provide greater support for those who are going through tough period in their lives to find available resources and opportunities to change or navigate their new found situations.

Recently, as we moved into rebranding our theme, Steve a great community member with graphic design background asked us the following question “What are our 5 core values?” This got us thinking on our feet. Who were we? What did we stand for? Who are we now? And Where do we hope to see ourselves.

This is what we came up with. Hope you have a chance to read it and if it’s something that resonate with you, hope you can join in our mission as well in growing this seedling that was once baby psych2go into something greater like a dense forest with a lot of interactive things you can do with it.
